Pokit Pro

I love the idea of the Pokit - the size, the simplicity, the ease of portability.
The switch on mine doesn't seem to give much tactile feedback as to when it is in the middle position.
The small case that comes with the Pokit Pro is too small, I now have the larger one (Which is a bit big for one Pokit - but it is sold as a Multi case)
The Oscilloscope update times are a bit slow for serious work, catching transients etc, but it is usable.
But overall it is a portable Multimeter that you can forget is in your top pocket..!!!

I've had a couple weeks to work with the Pokit Pro - so far very impressed. Easy to use, and I'm able to find the documentation I need online easily. The watch app is a nice feature.

I got my Pokit Pro from a crowdfunding campaign, so before I start talking about the product itself, I must mention how impressed I was with the Pokit team. They persevered through a pandemic to make sure backers got a quality product despite all the delays and kept us up to date.

Ever since I received my Pokit Pro I have barely used any other multimeter. The only exception is for when I need one with a clamp. I suppose this will no longer be the case when Pokit releases a clamp accessory. It is just so convenient and compact. The readings are so much easier to read on the screen of a phone than on a conventional multimeter. I leave my phone on a stand and can easily use the multimeter without having to worry about the length of the wires. I can take screenshots of results, and share them.

I was wrong to worry about wanting to use it and it being out of battery because I forgot to charge it. The battery lasts so long that it hasn't been a problem. Unlike a regular multimeter, it will turn itself off after a while of inactivity, so you don't have to worry about remembering to turn it off.

I have used every function in it except for the oscilloscope, and they all work great! I plan on some day buying more Pokit products so that I can measure current and voltage simultaneously. If it wasn't for the price I would have already purchased more Pokit products on one of their frequent sales. Although they are expensive, they are absolutely worth it. I am just waiting for the exchange rate of the country I live in to become more favorable or for the next time I travel to the US to buy other Pokit products. That being said, I am so pleased with the product that if I used it for work a lot, I would have bit the bullet and bought an other one anyways.
