    Impressive, very useful

Best use of a coin battery ever, it's an amazing little device useful for a lot of things. It has its limitations but it's still worth every penny.

    nice toy with restrictions

this is not all roses. It's a nice gadget. The biggest disappointment for me was that the ossciloscope only makes a snippet display once you push a button on your phone. It does not continuously show you what is going on. Especially for an oscilloscope that is *very* unhandy.
Where the voltmeter does give continuous reading.. i ask WHY??

    Hello Jan,

Pokit Meter isn’t capable of doing continuous oscilloscope measurements because due to the chemistry the coin cell battery is only capable of delivering the current required to take a measurement every now and then and not continuously (multimeter only takes a very short measurement once every second).
Also it would very quickly drain the battery.

This is something we have addressed with Pokit Pro because it has a LiPo rechargeable battery, it can deliver the necessary current and be recharged when it runs out.

    Phenomenal little gadget!

The Pokit meter has earned a spot in my work bag, which I obsessively curate to keep clutter down. It has already saved the day a couple of times by helping me diagnose and repair a power tool and a light fixture (running 12VDC LEDs; don’t use this on the 120VAC side of the power supply). You get the utility of a small workbench’s worth of equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, and data logger) in a package smaller than a mini donut. The UX of the whole thing is great, with very few moving parts and an intuitive app. Can’t compliment it enough!
