I really enjoy how handy the Pokit Pro is, and how well the phone app works. I have not had any issues with operation or functionality. It has great features and flexibility. At 1 Megasamples/sec the speed is somewhat limited, but for most of my applications it works great. I also enjoy the Arduino kit, which is well stocked with many useful extras. Cheers.
My order was an Indiegogo funding purchase.
Starting with the product itself, it is a geniously innovative idea, largely owing to its size. It takes up approximately a third of my toolbox space as compared to my usual meter. That, coupled with being able to strap my phone (the display) to my arm, I also love that I do not have to mess with finding a spot to rest my meter during a service call.
Another feature is the cable management that wraps around the unit itself. Speaking again to storage, this design also eliminates my other meter's accessory bag in my toolbox.
Changing to delivery fulfillment, I have never so gladly waited for two years to receive an order. The company's emailed updates effectively communicated delays and progress.
A bummer to wait that long? Absolutely. However, it was well-managed and well-worth the wait.
I have a bad knee at the moment. I have had a play and have easily used messenger to share the screen to another phone account and the trial seem sucessfull. I have found the CRO Clipping signal but jumping to a voltmeter then back to Oscilloscope seem to sort it. When i get mobile soon i will definately let you know by buying 50 of them to onsell to my client base for remote high level online tech support in real time
Good tool for me, I'm mecanic and perfect for quick check. Is perfect to check draw for car
I'm thrilled to finally have received my Pokit Pro and knew that Pokit would deliver. So far it's pretty amazing. There's only a few things I would change. I'd like to see a bit more granularity/ zoom/ better unit axis handling in the oscilloscope graphs and I found it hard to control the auto ranging of the differing time intervals. And I found it hard to see the units of the waveforms in the current app. Also, there were a few modes I'd like to see improved. The continuity would be better if it reacted faster, there's a small maybe 250ms delay before the tone sounds. Also the capacitance would be good if it handled some larger values for the much bigger capacitors. Also would like to see the diode mode handle a wider range of diode voltages. And would also be good to have an LED test mode. All that said, the trend to minimize devices and use Bluetooth so that we can use the screens we already have in our pockets is a great one. And PokitPro delivers.
